Root down before you rise
À propos
L’a Tesha is a Pilates instructor and the founder of The Roots Method — a nervous system–led approach to movement that focuses on building strength through regulation, control, and intention. Her work is rooted in the understanding that many women are living and moving from a state of chronic stress, where tension and “pushing through” have become normalised. Through The Roots Method, she offers a different approach — one that prioritises safety in the body, allowing strength to be developed in a way that is sustainable and supportive. L’a Tesha’s teaching blends classical Pilates principles with a slower, more mindful pace, encouraging clients to reconnect with their bodies, improve awareness, and build strength without unnecessary tension. She creates spaces that feel calm, considered, and grounding — where clients can move away from pressure and towards a more regulated, intentional way of moving.
Style d'enseignement
"L’a Tesha’s teaching style is calm, intentional, and grounded in nervous system awareness. Her classes focus on slow, controlled movement, with an emphasis on alignment, breath, and stability. Rather than pushing for intensity, she guides clients to move with precision and awareness, allowing strength to develop from a place of support rather than stress. She encourages clients to tune into their bodies, creating an environment where they feel safe to slow down, explore movement, and build confidence in their strength. Her sessions are both strengthening and restorative, leaving clients feeling more connected, regulated, and supported in their bodies."
