Her devotion to sharing yoga has stayed steady due to her desire to embody, create and experience life through a lens of spiritual understanding and share that with others.

Certified vinyasa, power, ashtanga and trauma informed Yin yoga teacher
She completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 and is incredibly grateful to be able to share her love of yoga as her job and to be able to help others on their own personal journey. Shey’s teaching is designed to give students the tools and techniques to access their own unique body’s needs, create new connections and continue to find the center of themselves each time they step on their mats. Her love of movement translates to a practice and teaching style that is both strong and playful, challenging and grounding. Her classes whether you are coming for a physical challenge, a spiritual connection, some laughs or all of the above it will be “your yoga”. As a teacher, she realizes that yoga is not a "one size fits all" practice, and that every person is on a different path. She tries to offer her students the opportunity to take that path in their own way at their own pace, to modify when needed and to honor how they feel at all times.

I started my yoga journey in 2022 when my husband found a yoga studio by our apartment! Getting the chance to practice with others really deepened my sense of community and positively influenced my practice. Last July, I got my 200 Hour RYT with Small World Yoga in Nashville, TN. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in studio as well as in libraries, carceral centers, festivals and virtual classes. I love creating vinyasa flows for unheated, heated and virtual spaces, and I also have experience guiding pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra. My professional background is in the arts, and I love being creative with my classes and themes. I employ trauma informed techniques, and cue for alignment rather than critique. I am motivated to teach because I truly believe that yogic philosophy is life changing and can make the world a better place. I’ve experienced the empowerment, clarity and love that comes from having a yoga practice and want to share that with others!

I didn’t come to Pilates and Barre by accident — movement found me when I was searching for balance. What began as a way to understand my own body became a lifelong passion for helping others feel strong, capable, and at home in theirs. As a Pilates and Barre instructor, I blend precision with flow, strength with grace. As a nutritionist, I look beyond calories, focusing on nourishment, energy, and longevity. I believe true wellness happens when movement and nutrition speak the same language. My work is about more than workouts or meal plans — it’s about building resilience, confidence, and a body that supports the life you want to live. Every session is an invitation to move with purpose and fuel with intention.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over six years, with a background in sports and ballet. I thought yoga would just be another physical practice - it turned out to be something much deeper. I completed a 500-hour Teacher Training in India in 2023, and later continued my studies there with a 100-hour prenatal yoga course. My work combines yoga, breathwork, and meditation - integrating movement, breath, and stillness into one practice. I sometimes incorporate sound (singing bowls) into meditation to deepen relaxation and support nervous system regulation. I’m used to teaching online and know how to guide people clearly, even without being in the same room. I adapt each session to the individual and focus on consistency and long-term progress. English is not my first language, which helps me explain things in a clear and direct way.
